Finally I have something I’ve wanted for a long time, Corel Painter!
Here’s some fumbling first takes on using it.
A horse sketch that I might use as a preparation for a painting, inspired by one of my moms old kids books, tam the untamed.

Here is a portrait for the character replacement I caused *cough* in the roleplaying campaign. I had fun googling all kinds of scars, I’m still trying to unsee some of the results.
Guess what I’ve been doing today? I got myself a haircut and bought some inks and brushes. I want to learn to ink with a brush so bad, but I find it a little bit hard to control as you can see. And I look like I’ve escaped from Bold and the Beautiful. I’m sure I’ll get used to the new hair in a few days.
I created a new gallery for my work on deviantart at suncut.deviantart.com and instantly felt like doing more just fun drawing, I think only visiting really serious art forums has been keeping me too serious.
We have a sweet dog that patiently puts up with me hugging her all the time. Even if she hates me at the moment for having to give her ear medication.

Some imagination stuff with watercolors and pens. I keep wanting to explore this further but something always seems to come up when I’m about to. I just really love working with both ink and watercolor.
